On November 7th this year, catch the blazing show “Fire of Anatolia” at the Fred Kavli Theatre! Mustafa Erdogan, the celebrated Turkish choreographer and artistic director, arrives in the US to present his updated version from late October to early November. The show will visit the biggest cities, including New Jersey, Miami, Chicago, Washington, Houston, and Los Angeles, to share the dance performance with more audiences in North America.
Erdogan is reported to personally lead the group, commenting that "The audience in the USA is both exceptionally discerning and emotionally responsive." With its first version premiering more than twenty years ago, millions of viewers worldwide have commended the show. "The work took more than 5 years to complete. It was not easy to build a narrative with numerous historical references. Simultaneously, we had to craft a contemporary spectacle that would appeal to multiple generations of viewers," the choreographer shares.
Over the years, the performance has evolved with a world-class ensemble of dancers and actors hailing from seven distinct countries, combining their talents to promote Turkish dance and musical culture to the furthest corners of the globe.
